What The Heck?

Nutrition, and why it’s important.

There are starving children in the world. I know this because as a kid, my mom told me about them whenever I refused to eat my vegetables. That’s a lie. I always ate my vegetables. But she does like to tell me about the starving children whenever life’s got me down. I don’t think one should compare one’s temporarily troubling situation to the misfortune of another in an effort to feel better about oneself. What good is that going to do? You can’t change either situation by making a comparison.

Oh, moms.
